Tremors brings together three interconnected photographic projects by photographer and visual artist Odysseas Chloridis.
Through photography, printmaking, collage and material intervention, Odysseas treats the photograph as an evolving surface rather than a static document. Drawing from uncertainty, displacement, folklore and lived experience, he explores how images can hold feelings, stories, and things that exist beyond what is immediately visible. At the heart of his work are questions about our connection to nature, animism and the emotional landscape of human experience.
The exhibition brings together Enceladus, Voice of Rocks, and Burning in Water. Across the three series, images become a way of sensing what lies beyond the visible: the perceived presence within landscapes, animals and objects, the inner qualities of stones, and the physical limits of the photographic print itself.
By altering, dissecting and sometimes risking the destruction of his images, Odysseas asks what happens when we move beyond the photograph as a document and begin to consider it as a living, material thing.
